My name is Teri Miles. I was born and raised in the Pocono Mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania. My undergraduate degrees, from East Stroudsburg University, are Political Science and Theater as well as Teacher Certification. I also have a law degree from New York Law School and previously practiced law representing numerous clients in the areas of family law, small business, juveniles, and as a Protection From Abuse Advocate, a position I created in Monroe County Pennsylvania in the mid-1990s.
Professional Tutoring and Pennsylvania Certified Teacher licensed to teach grades K-6 (all subjects); Mid-Level (grades 7-9): Math, Science, and Civics; High School English Language Arts; and K-12 Business and Technology. I have taught at all levels, including college, and have been a Private Professional Tutor for over 15 years. I also tutor test preparation for exams such as the SAT, the ACT, and the PRAXIS.
